Important Notes for Exhibitors

  • TABF exhibitor booth section is divided into four areas. Each booth area has different application criteria; please apply for the booth area that suits you best.
  • TABF will priortize applications by those who are actively publishing new works or are taking new, experimental initiatives in their practices. Please detail your recent primary practices and achievements in the “15. Your Work and Practice” section of the application form.
  • The publications and/or printed editions to be presented at the fair must be related to art. You may also include items such as T-shirts and stickers for sale. 
  • You must perform the loading and unloading of your own wares. Your booth must be attended by you or your staff members at all times through the duration of the Fair.
  • (Exhibitors that wish to exhibit as a collective or organization are welcome to do so, but note that we may be required to set a maximum limit for the number of staff attending a single booth at a certain time)

Deadlines and Participation Confirmation

  • The deadline for the application is end of day (JST) June 16 (Sun), 2024. Applicants will be notified of their results in August.
  • Payment must be made by the designated date. Your participation will be voided if you fail to meet the designated payment date.
  • Participants will be notified of the payment deadline and payment options at a later date.

Policy Regarding Postponement/Cancellation of Fair

In cases of cancellation or postponement of the event due to unavoidable circumstances, please follow the instructions from the organizer.

  • If we receive a large number of applications, we will employ a selection process to decide upon the final exhibitor pool.
  • Making an application does not guarantee your participation in TABF.
  • Make sure to not publicly announce your participation in the Fair until after you receive our official notice of participation via email.
  • The Fair committee will select the final pool of participants based on information provided in your application – including images, texts and websites. In order to ensure a fair and proper screening process, please provide information that is up-to-date and accurate.
  • Be aware that the fair committee will not respond to any inquiries regarding application or selection results.
  • The information you enter in the Exhibitor’s Name, Website URL, Social Media and Bio/About Your Organization fields in your application will be made public in your exhibitor profile on our website and other publications.
