About the fair

Fair Dates: November 16th (Mon) – November 23rd (Monday / Public Holiday), 2020 Admission: Free   Booth Exhibition Dates: November 20th (Sat) – November 23rd (Monday / Public Holiday), 2020

Requirements

The publications and/or printed editions to be presented at the Fair must be related to art. You must be willing and capable of staffing and managing retail operations by yourself or be applying on behalf of someone who is capable of the same. *You can submit your application as a group and/or organization. You must operate your own e-Commerce website/portal or have one open by the date of the Fair.

Deadline and Confirmation of Your Participation

The deadline to apply for a booth is set at Sep 25th (Fri), 2020. Applicants will be notified by the late September regarding application results. Payment must be made by the deadline. Your participation will be canceled if you fail to meet the payment date. Exhibitors whose participation in the Fair has been finalized will be notified of payment deadline and payment options.

At the Fair

The organizing committee will decide the position of booths according to the overall layout of the space. Please make sure that your booth is attended at all times during the fair. The Fair will not be responsible for any loss, theft, or accidents caused by the participants.

Application for Booth Spaces

To apply to set up a booth at the Fair, please fill the following form. Please note that the prices are listed without tax. Applications should be sent to us by Sep 20th (Sun), 2020. We will have selection process to decide the final participants in the Fair. Please be aware that sending an application does not guarantee your participation in the Fair.   Please do not announce or publicize your participation in the Fair until after you receive our official confirmation of participation via email. The Fair committee will select final participants based on provided information including images, texts and websites.   In order to ensure for a proper screening process, please provide the most up-to-date and accurate information on your project. Please be aware that the Fair committee will not respond to any inquiries regarding application or selection results.   Please note that your exhibitor name, website URL, social media handles and project bio will be made viewable publicly.

About Booth

1) Items to be displayed: Visual aids in use for presenting the contents of each booth (photographs, graphics, illustrations, etc.), icon image, exhibitor name, profile text, etc. We can also display explanatory text and price information for items on display or sale. 2) Specific requirements and other details on necessary materials in booth creation, such as data formats and other info, will be sent to exhibitors at a later date. Exhibitors who apply for multiple booth spaces will be able to display more main visuals. 3) During the booth exhibition period (11/20-23), exhibitors may also engage in direct communication with spectators by specifying an optional online communication tool (online meeting app, chat app, social media, phone number, or email address) by which to engage with. (Some online tools may require additional fees for use.) 4) Any transactions and dealings made with purchasers of goods at the fair must be conducted at each exhibitor’s own e-commerce portal. The VABF will not be held responsible for any incidents regarding the above. 5) The VABF site will remain as an archive and will still be viewable after the end of the fair period.
