For TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR 2021

Since the cancellation of the TOKYO ART BOOK FAIR due to the coronavirus outbreak and the hosting of its online alternative VIRTUAL ART BOOK FAIR last year, our team has been looking forward to the day we can all gather together again in a physical space.

It has been a struggle for us at TABF to decide how to go about holding this year’ s event; eventually, we arrived at the decision to host the art book fair both on online and offline platforms while taking precautionary measures to safeguard everyone involved.

The return of TABF does not mean a return to normal, but we are still very much looking forward to meeting all participants as well as new art books this year at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo.

To ensure enjoyment in a safe environment for everyone involved, we would like to inform you of the measures we will be taking and the cooperation we would like from all visitors.

Please make sure to read the following guidelines before visiting the Offline Venue.

Although we cannot deliver the energy and excitement of large crowds gathering and conversing this year, we will do our best to ensure an experience in which visitors can encounter and spend quality time with various books as usual.

Thank you very much in advance for your cooperation.
