In this workshop, participants will use a Polaroid camera that allows you to instantly hold the photographs you take, exploring the venue with given keywords as clues to discover and capture “your very own TABF.” We will begin with a short introduction to basic shooting techniques, then participants are free to take photos throughout the TABF venue. At the end of the workshop, everyone will gather to look at the photographs together, aiming to share the fun of photography and discover new perspectives. All participants may take their own photographs home with them.

Tokyo Photographic Research
Tokyo Photographic Research is an artist collective led by photographer Taisuke Koyama and composed of artists and researchers engaged in photography. Its mission is “multifaceted urban research” and “practical exploration of contemporary photography.” Their activities seek to visualize unseen aspects of cities, societies, and people, passing on the visions discovered to the future.
