Full of exciting gimmicks, the works by French picture book author Lucie Félix take the children to become the main characters of the stories.
The workshop conducted by Félix in TABF called “Knock Knock” focuses on the idea of “Play.”
Targeting children of 6 months to 5 years old, it aims to create a ground for kids to generate their own play. On site, you will find silent clues; stripes to set the boundaries of their playground, round steps to guide them where to go, holes that make them want to look inside…
The plays that children come up with may be funny or serious, enjoyed by themselves or with others. Félix supports the kids to invent new games and play freely. Books by Félix will also be on display!

Lucie Félix

Born in 1983 and grew up in a tiny village. After spending some time in Spain, Hong Kong, and the UK, she now lives in the Paris area.
Books are a fantastic medium to reach out to people and exploring the possibilities they give as an object is very exciting. Her books are narrative, poetic, experimental multi-sensory objects, of which the little reader is the main character. Her books play a key role in a broader artistic activity, including visual arts, writing, and scenography. She also gets a lot of inspiration from workshops I design and facilitate with young children.
