Moro young is an art publisher focusing on Taiwan’s Gen Z creators, publishing artist's books and zines on culture, politics, issues, and landscapes in an East Asian context.

Two Gen Z speakers will introduce artworks from moro young and share observations, followed by a creator explaining how she conceives and realizes her artworks with concepts and reflecting on differences with Japan. We hope to build connection with Japanese audiences and creators and looking forward to spark new inspiration.

YenChen Liu
Born in Hsinchu, Taiwan in 2003. Yen Chen Liu is founder of the press moro young and former editor-in-chief of Taipei National University of Arts Fine Arts Journal, currently pursuing an MFA in Printmaking at TNUA.
YenChen Liu’s artworks are mainly with printmaking media and books, exploring Taiwan’s national identity and historical issues through personal and family perspectives.

Tammy
Born in 2002 in Taipei, graduated from the Department of Fine Arts at TNUA with a minor in New Media Art, and pursuing an MA in Art History at NTU. Has published art criticism in various platforms. Her artist’s books I Hate This! and Sorry for Being This Cute w explore misogyny and shifting ideals of female beauty, combining bijin-ga with purikura aesthetics.
